On November 29, the Binh Thuy District Labor Federation organized a donation ceremony for union member Huynh Thi Hau Giang (Union of An Thoi 1 Primary School).
It is known that union member Huynh Thi Hau Giang is in a particularly difficult situation and has a serious illness. In order to share difficulties, help union members improve their lives as well as demonstrate the spirit of mutual love in the Union system, the Binh Thuy District Labor Federation has implemented the model "Union joins hands to support and help union members in particularly difficult circumstances" to mobilize union members at affiliated grassroots unions to contribute to help.
During the implementation period, the Binh Thuy District Labor Federation has mobilized 80,795,000 VND and organized a donation to union member Huynh Thi Hau Giang. On this occasion, the Can Tho City Labor Federation also donated 3 million VND from the Can Tho Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund to union member Hau Giang.
On the same day, the Binh Thuy District Labor Union also held a ceremony to announce the Decision to admit union members and establish the Con Son Tourist Guide Union, Bui Huu Nghia Ward.
Activities aim to contribute to building harmonious relationships between employees and employers in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code and the Trade Union Law.
At the ceremony, the Binh Thuy District Labor Union announced the Decision to admit union members, establish the union and appoint a provisional Executive Committee. Accordingly, 20 workers who are tour guides at Con Son, Bui Huu Nghia Ward, were admitted to the Vietnam Labor Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Duong - Chairman of the Binh Thuy District Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the union to do a good job in building the working regulations of the Executive Committee, assigning tasks to each member; guiding union members to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, especially issues related to the rights and obligations of workers.
The Chairman of the Binh Thuy District Labor Federation also hopes that new union members will try to fulfill their rights and obligations as prescribed by the Vietnam Trade Union Charter, participate in activities and respond well to movements and activities launched by the Union, contributing to building an increasingly strong union.
