On November 22, the Thot Not District Labor Federation held a ceremony to put up a plaque to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Attending the ceremony was the Permanent Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Huynh Thi Hien.
These are the national flag route in Tan My 2 area (Tan Loc ward) and the emulation project to upgrade Tra Cui road, right branch in Phung Thanh 2 area (Trung Kien ward).
According to the Tan Loc Ward Trade Union, the national flag route is 4,000m long, with 200 flagpoles and a cost of 45 million VND. The completion of the route is one of the activities contributing to maintaining security and order, a clean landscape, and implementing a civilized lifestyle in the locality.
The emulation project to upgrade Tra Cui road, right branch, was implemented by Trung Kien ward Trade Union in coordination with the ward People's Committee and Phung Thanh 2 area, with a length of 1,200m, width of 4m, and a total cost of over 2 billion VND.
The completed route makes travel and the circulation of goods between areas more convenient and easier. Thereby, improving people's lives, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in Trung Kien ward.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded Golden Heart scholarships to disadvantaged students in the area, each worth 500,000 VND. Thereby, promptly encouraging and motivating students to strive to study, overcome difficulties and achieve good results.
