On February 19, the Can Tho Health Sector Trade Union in collaboration with the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho organized a ceremony to present the Union Shelter to union member Nguyen Thi Bich Dao (Canh Tho Labor Hospital and Lung Diseases Trade Union).
Before moving to the new shelter, the old house of the female union member's family was seriously degraded, the structure was not guaranteed but there were no conditions to repair it. Faced with the family's difficult circumstances, the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the City Health Sector Trade Union and the unit's Trade Union promptly deployed support for union members to build a Union Shelter.
The shelter was built in the style of a level 4 house ( corrugated iron roof, walls, brick floor). Of which, the branch of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho supported the union member's family with 50 million VND.
After a period of construction, the shelter has been completed and put into use. On the day of returning to her new home, Ms. Dao expressed her happiness and sent her sincere thanks to the Trade Union at all levels, the Department of Health and the hospital leaders for their attention and support, helping the family have a new, spacious house.
For the female union member, the new shelter is not only a place to shelter her family from the rain and sun, but also a motivation for her to strive to work and continue to contribute to the health sector.
At the award ceremony, leaders of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the Department of Health, the Health Sector Trade Union and the Hospital where Ms. Dao works shared their joy, encouraged and presented many gifts, congratulated the family on a new home.
