On the morning of April 29, at the Cao Bang Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) to organize the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month 2026.
Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments, agencies, branches, socio-political organizations, and a large number of union members, workers, and laborers in the area.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Ly Thi Hue - Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council - emphasized the important role of occupational safety and health in the current context.
At the same time, calling on all levels, sectors, businesses and workers to raise awareness, proactively prevent labor accidents and occupational diseases, towards building a safe and sustainable working environment.
At the program, representatives of businesses in the province spoke in response and signed commitments to well implement regulations on occupational safety and health.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee commended 14 typical union members and workers in production labor in 2026; presented 50 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of more than 25 million VND; and supported 4 cases of work accidents and occupational diseases.

Speaking to direct, Ms. Ha Nhat Le - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee - requested agencies, units, and businesses to continue to effectively implement solutions to ensure labor safety and hygiene; strengthen inspection and supervision and raise awareness of law compliance to limit labor accidents.


Also within the framework of the program, the Provincial Labor Federation launched the online contest "Each union member - An initiative for occupational safety and health" in 2026, taking place from May 1 to May 31, 2026.
After the ceremony, many practical activities were organized such as free health consultations, safe driving instruction, insurance policy advice, job advice... attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate.

The launching ceremony is a meaningful activity, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and the whole society in occupational safety and health, and at the same time spreading the spirit of responding to Workers' Month 2026.
