News from the Trade Union of Dien Ban Ward, Da Nang City on July 26 said: on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the Trade Union of Dien Ban Ward in coordination with Minh Khang Quang Nam Medical Co., Ltd., Dong Tam Saigon Medical Joint Stock Company and Tri Tam Medical Co., Ltd. organized a program to visit and give gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in communes and wards: Dien Ban, Dien Ban Bac, Dien Ban Tay, An Thang and Go Noi.
The activity is organized to promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude", expressing deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution; and at the same time showing the responsibility of the trade union organization in taking care of social security, linking with medical units in the area.
To ensure that the gift giving is solemn, practical and targeted, the Ward Trade Union has coordinated with the Department of Culture and Society in 5 communes and wards to review and make a list of policy families. On this occasion, the working delegation presented 12 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, with a total budget of 6 million VND.
The program is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, contributing to spreading the tradition of gratitude, spirit of responsibility and affection of the trade union organization, the team of workers, civil servants, laborers and accompanying units towards those who have made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
