The Trade Union of Nam Phuoc Commune (Da Nang) has just launched a sponsorship program for poor students overcoming difficulties, and launched the club model "Give Wings to Dreams - For the Children of Union Members and Workers".
At the program, from the mobilization of companies, enterprises, grassroots trade unions and philanthropists, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union sponsored 12 poor students who are children of union members and workers. Each student is supported with 500,000 VND/month, a total of 72 million VND/year.
On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union also presented 40 gifts to children in difficult circumstances in 3 communes of Nam Phuoc, Duy Nghia and Thu Bon with a total value of 12 million VND.
The leader of the Nam Phuoc Commune Union said that this support source helps reduce difficulties for families, while creating more motivation for them to continue going to school, nurturing dreams of a bright future.
In the coming time, the unit will continue to mobilize resources from grassroots unions, individuals and philanthropists so that the program of sponsoring poor students to overcome difficulties can spread more widely, contributing to caring for and accompanying many orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances, both materially and spiritually.
