Trade unions at all levels have supported funding to build and repair 127 "Union Shelters" for union members with difficult housing circumstances, with a total support budget of over 5.67 billion VND.
The number of "Union Shelters" deployed in 2024 reached 123% of the target set by the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee.
In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor and trade unions at all levels visited and presented gifts to 35,870 union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasions of Workers' Month and Lunar New Year with a total amount of nearly 16 billion VND.
One of the highlights of the past year was that the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the trade union to successfully organize a dialogue conference between provincial leaders and trade union officials, union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha - Permanent Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - said that the dialogue conference is an extremely useful forum for authorities at all levels to listen to and grasp the legitimate aspirations of workers.
From there, timely solutions are available to remove difficulties, obstacles, resolve and build harmonious labor relations between the parties.
Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha suggested maintaining the organization of annual dialogue conferences between provincial leaders and union members and workers.
Besides the achievements, in general, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in informal sector enterprises faces many difficulties.

Continue to bring many benefits to union members
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said: "In 2025, we will review and evaluate the results of signed cooperation agreements to adjust them to the current context. At the same time, we will proactively seek new partners to sign cooperation agreements, in order to bring more benefits to union members".
Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to replicate practical models to care for the material and spiritual benefits of union members and workers, especially in non-state enterprises and industrial parks and clusters.
Programs such as “Union Shelter,” “Thank You Workers,” “Union Meals,” etc. will be expanded to improve workers’ welfare.
Mr. Thanh emphasized the need to mobilize union members and workers to support the Provincial Federation of Labor’s support fund. This fund will promptly support the construction and repair costs of the “Union Shelter” and help union members in especially difficult circumstances.
"We will also promote the digital transformation program in trade union activities to keep up with the trend. The province will continue to innovate and improve the efficiency of grassroots trade unions, build a strong team of trade union officials, and meet the requirements of the task" - Mr. Thanh shared.
