This is an activity of workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLD) of Dien Bien province on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor - affirmed that with the virtues of diligence, creativity, and hard work, female workers in the province have been overcoming difficulties and challenges, striving in studying, working, and working.
“In particular, besides work, female employees also play a good role as wife, mother, first teacher of children in the family, organizing and taking care of life, making an important contribution to building a warm family home” – Mr. Long emphasized.
At the conference, the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor commended 45 outstanding female union cadres representing 558 female union committees and female union groups, with over 17,000 female employees - this is the core force in the movement of women's work at the grassroots level.
The conference also heard 4 outstanding female union officials representing the fields of administration, career, production and business... share their experiences in union activities, women's work activities and building a prosperous, progressive and happy family life.
Ms. Pham Thi Lan Huong - Head of the Women's Union of the Dien Bien Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - shared at the conference: "As a mother, a woman is the first teacher of her child, playing an important role in raising and shaping the child's personality. A mother is also a friend for her child to confide in, ask for advice, and help her child make the right decisions...".
