Attending and directing the Conference were Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation - along with leaders of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, Trade Unions of communes and wards, and nearly 100 grassroots trade union officials.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong emphasized that the team of grassroots trade union officials plays a particularly important role, being a bridge between the Party, government, employers and union members and workers. This is also the force directly implementing the guidelines and resolutions of the Trade Union organization to the grassroots level (CĐCS).
In the context of many changes in labor relations, the requirements for trade union officials are increasingly high, regularly updating knowledge, improving skills and professional qualifications is an urgent requirement to improve quality and meet task requirements in the new period.
During 2 days, trainees will study and exchange 7 topics including: Basic issues about Vietnam Trade Unions; content of activities of grassroots trade union presidents; methods of grassroots trade union activities; professional inspection, supervision, management of trade union finances and assets; policies and laws and labor relations...
Thematic topics were directly conveyed by leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders and specialists of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, combined with exchanging experiences and answering difficulties and obstacles arising in the process of operation at the grassroots level.
Through the training course, it aims to equip and update professional knowledge and skills for grassroots trade union officials; contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of operations and promoting the role of trade union organizations, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
