Dong Nai - Bach Thanh Ceramic Tile Company Limited in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park owes 2 months of salary and 12 months of insurance to more than 200 workers.

On September 26, the Labor Federation of Nhon Trach district announced that Bach Thanh Ceramic Tile Company Limited on Road No. 3, Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park, Phu Hoi Commune, Nhon Trach District had announced the payment of salaries for July and August 2024 to employees.

Accordingly, for management levels from team leader and above and indirect blocks, on September 30, 50% of July 2024 salary will be paid; on October 5, the remaining 50% of July 2024 salary will be paid.

On October 20, 50% of August 2024 salary will be paid and on October 30, the remaining 50% of August 2024 salary will be paid.

For direct production workers including production workers, maintenance staff, KCS staff, and architects, 50% of August 2024 salary will be paid on October 5 and the remaining 50% of August 2024 salary will be paid on October 10.

The company also said that if finances can be arranged, it will pay employees sooner.

The company said that its financial situation has been affected by the real estate market in recent times. On the other hand, this is the rainy season, so the export of goods and taking orders are limited, causing the company's financial resources to face many difficulties.

Currently, the company's management is reviewing financial figures and looking for better solutions when the company resumes operations.

According to information from Dong Nai Provincial Social Insurance, as of August 2024, there are still 457 enterprises that are late in paying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance for 3 months or more, with an amount of 50 million VND or more.

According to the attached detailed list, Bach Thanh Ceramic Tile Company Limited has 244 employees who are also in debt for 12 months of insurance with a total debt of nearly 5 billion VND for social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance.
