On January 14, information from the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) said that in a series of activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, up to now, the union has supported 77,594 gifts for workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND (including 700,000 VND in cash and 1 gift worth 300,000 VND).
The Union also visited and presented gifts to 2,688 workers in difficult circumstances, who had occupational accidents during work, had a 20% or more reduction in working capacity, or suffered from serious illnesses, each case receiving 2 million VND (including 1.7 million VND in cash and a gift of 300,000 VND).
Support 30,000 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, for union members and workers in difficult circumstances who have suffered work accidents, serious illnesses, lost their jobs, and have not been able to return home for Tet for many years, with a total amount of 30 billion VND (from Dong Nai province's budget).
Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor also coordinated with the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai Province to present 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province, each gift worth 800,000 VND (Dong Nai Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 500,000 VND in cash, Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor presented 1 gift worth 300,000 VND).
In parallel, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 1,000 train tickets for union members and workers who are unable to return home to celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, with a total amount of more than 2.1 billion VND. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also supported 350 round-trip train tickets and 92 air tickets for union members, workers and their relatives to return home to celebrate Tet.
Trains will depart from Bien Hoa station to Vinh station, Thanh Hoa station and Hanoi station. Expected time is December 24, 25, 26 and 27 (from January 23-26, 2025).
