On the afternoon of January 3, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones held a handover ceremony of the "Trade Union Shelter" to 2 union members who are working at the Trade Union of Nghi Phong Joint Venture Company Limited, located in Tran Quoc Toan Industrial Park (Cao Lanh City).
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of Dong Thap Industrial and Economic Zones Trade Union; representatives of leaders and Trade Union of Nghi Phong Joint Venture Company Limited.
Accordingly, the delegation held a handover ceremony for "Trade Union Shelter" to Nguyen Phan Boi Boi and Pham Thi Do.
The house of member Nguyen Phan Boi Boi (born in 1993) is located in Tan Hung Hamlet, Tan Thuan Tay Commune (Cao Lanh City) with an area of 63m2 (4.5m wide and 14m long). After 2 months of construction (11.2024), it was completed with a total cost of 190 million VND. Of which, the Management Board of the Dong Thap Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund Branch supported 55 million VND, the remaining amount was from Boi Boi's family's savings over the years and borrowed from relatives and friends.
The house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Do (born in 1987) is located in Hamlet 3, Tan Nghia Commune, Cao Lanh District. After 2 months of construction, it was completed with an area of 70m2 (4m wide, 17.5m long) with a total cost of 205 million VND. Of which, the support from the Management Board of the Dong Thap Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund Branch was 55,000,000 VND, the rest was from the family's savings and support from Ms. Do's relatives.
Speaking at the ceremony to hand over the "Union Shelter", Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap thanked the Management Board of the Dong Thap Golden Heart Charitable Social Fund Branch for their timely support to 2 union members with difficult family circumstances to have stable housing, peace of mind at work, along with kind words to Ms. Nguyen Phan Boi Boi and Ms. Pham Thi Do and their families.
Ms. Nguyen Phan Boi Boi and Ms. Pham Thi Do expressed their emotions and on behalf of their family, they thanked the Management Board of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch of Dong Thap and the Trade Unions at all levels for their attention, support, and financial support to help their family have their dream house so that they can overcome all difficulties and strive to complete their assigned tasks well.
