In Thap Muoi district, the District Labor Federation (LDW) coordinated with the District Youth Union and the CEP Microfinance Organization, Cao Lanh branch, to organize a program to award scholarships and gifts to students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to go to school. In the 2024-2025 school year, the Thap Muoi District Labor Federation and the Thap Muoi District Youth Union mobilized 63 scholarships and 45 gifts from supporting organizations, agencies, units and enterprises, with a total value of more than 23 million VND.
Cao Lanh District Labor Federation and sponsors presented “Support to School” scholarships and bicycles to children of union members and workers. Accordingly, the units coordinated to present 110 scholarships, school supplies (worth 700,000 VND/scholarship) and 10 bicycles. The total cost of the activity was over 100 million VND.
Taking care of children of workers and employees in difficult circumstances in the area, the Hong Ngu City Labor Federation coordinated with Thai Duong Handbag Garment Company Limited (An Loc Ward, Hong Ngu City), CEP Microfinance Organization, Cao Lanh Branch to organize the program "Going to School with You". This is an activity to share difficulties, motivate students to overcome difficulties to study well, and students to win high prizes in city-level competitions.
At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 100 scholarships (each worth from 300,000 VND - 2.5 million VND) and 500 gifts (each including: backpack, notebook, colored pencil, water bottle, watch). The cost of giving gifts and scholarships was nearly 125 million VND.
According to statistics, at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, all levels of the provincial Union mobilized philanthropists and businesses to donate more than 7,000 scholarships, 15,000 notebooks, school supplies, 350 bicycles, and more than 20,000 gifts to children of union members and employees with a total amount of more than 10 billion VND.
