Over the past term, the Company's Trade Union has proactively performed well its role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers.
Activities to care for union members' lives are a bright spot, with a total budget of over 2.3 billion VND for welfare regimes; supporting 3 disadvantaged cases with 132 million VND; taking care of children and showing gratitude to policy families with more than 365 million VND; participating in social programs launched by the higher-level Trade Union with 128 million VND.

The Trade Union has actively built an organization and introduced outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, with 4 union members admitted to the Party during their term. Creative labor emulation movements have also been strongly implemented, with 75 initiatives recognized, many collectives and individuals being rewarded at the company and provincial levels.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress determined that the new term focused on improving the quality of Trade Union activities, developing union members, caring for workers' rights and building a strong organization.
The Congress agreed on 12 targets and 9 key solutions, notably developing union members to 98% of the total number of workers; Every year, grassroots unions are classified as good or better; 100% of union members and workers are propagandized, study resolutions and legal policies; Introduce at least 03 outstanding union members/year to the Party for admission consideration; Proactively negotiate and sign Collective Labor Agreements with at least 03 provisions more beneficial to workers; 100% of union officials are trained in professional skills.
The Congress identified the breakthrough of increasing care and protection of legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers; Developing union members in conjunction with improving quality, strictly managing and improving the capacity of union officials; Building strong grassroots unions, actively participating in building a clean and strong Party and government.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Trang - Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged and praised the outstanding efforts and results of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Petroleum Joint Stock Company in the past term.
The Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that the company's grassroots trade union needs to continue to care for and protect the legitimate rights of union members and workers, sign and implement Collective Labor Agreements with more favorable provisions for workers, implement grassroots democracy regulations, monitor union members' lives and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for union members and workers.
In addition, the Trade Union needs to build a strong organization, innovate the content and methods of operation, organize movements suitable to the specific nature of work, focus on training cadres, increase multi-channel propaganda, launch emulation movements, transparent financial management and promote the work of introducing outstanding union members to the Party for admission, in order to build a dynamic, creative and sustainable Trade Union force accompanying businesses.

The Congress elected 9 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Company, term V, 2025 - 2030, Mr. Pham Thanh Triet to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union. The Congress elected 1 official delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
