On September 28, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the theme for 2025 is "Developing union members, participating in building a clean and strong Party" and assigned specific targets to each unit in developing union members and grassroots unions.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the whole Gia Lai province has newly established 37 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) and developed 5,036 more union members. Of which, Binh Dinh (old) has 25 new grassroots unions, admitting 4,227 union members; Gia Lai (old) has 12 new grassroots unions, admitting 1,079 union members.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor identifies the current key task as consolidating and perfecting commune and ward unions; thereby expanding the development of union members, establishing union organizations in non-state enterprises, and moving towards building Party organizations in these units.
In addition, trade unions at all levels also directly mediate disputes, reduce complicated complaints right from the grassroots level, and connect workers through cultural and sports activities and taking care of their lives.
Recently, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce and hand over the decision to establish the Tam Quan Ward Trade Union, Quy Nhon Ward Trade Union, Quy Nhon Nam Ward Trade Union, with many grassroots unions with thousands of workers working in factories and enterprises.
