On August 7, the Trade Union of Pleiku Ward, Gia Lai Province held the first Executive Committee Conference (expanded) to discuss tasks for 2025.
Currently, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union manages 87 grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions with 6,344 union members and about 6,537 civil servants and workers. After officially coming into operation from July 1, 2025, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union has a large number of union members and workers in Gia Lai province.

Of which, State-owned enterprises have 3 grassroots trade unions; public service units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the State budget have 11 grassroots trade unions; Foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) have 3 grassroots trade unions; non-state enterprises have 70 grassroots trade unions.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan - Vice President of the Pleiku Ward Trade Union - said that from now until the end of 2025, the grassroots trade union has the task of regularly grasping information, listening to feedback from the grassroots, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.
The trade union is responsible for grasping the situation of labor relations, production, business, and implementing the regimes and policies of enterprises. Thereby, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

The ward union will train outstanding union members in the workforce and labor force to introduce to the Party Committee for consideration and admission to the Party.
The Trade Union guides grassroots trade unions to negotiate and sign Collective Labor Agreements, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene. At the same time, develop a plan to organize a legal consultation conference for union members.
