Building a safe working environment
On May 16, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union just organized the program to respond to "Workers' Month - Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health" in 2026, combined with propaganda on fire and explosion prevention laws; crime prevention and anti-fraud prevention in cyberspace.
This is a practical and meaningful activity, showing the concern of the Party Committee, government and Trade Union organization for union members and workers; and at the same time contributing to caring for the material and spiritual life, raising legal awareness and self-protection skills for workers in the new situation.

Responding to Workers' Month 2026, Pleiku Ward Trade Union implements many key activities; towards building a safe, civilized, stable and progressive working environment.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan - Chairwoman of Pleiku Ward Trade Union said: "Through the training, exchange and sharing session, Pleiku Ward Trade Union hopes that each union member and worker will further improve their awareness of law compliance; well implement regulations on fire prevention and fighting, and occupational safety and hygiene.
At the same time, strengthen vigilance against online scams. Thereby contributing to protecting the safety of themselves, their families, businesses and maintaining security and order in the locality".
In addition, the Ward Trade Union also organized "Trade Union Meals" and presented gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances".

Workers are wary of drugs and black credit
Currently, the situation of crime and law violations is still complicated, especially acts related to drugs, property theft, black credit, gambling, online fraud and high-tech crimes.
According to Pleiku Ward Police, a part of workers due to lack of information and skills to identify illegal acts easily become victims or unintentionally assist bad actors.

Along with that, the risk of fire and explosion in production areas, boarding houses and residential areas still contains many risks. Forms of fraud through telephones, social networks and online applications are increasingly sophisticated, directly affecting the assets, lives and psychology of workers.
Faced with that reality, equipping each union member and worker with legal knowledge, skills to identify and prevent crimes, social evils as well as law violations is extremely necessary.
