On the morning of February 7, at Gia Lai Education Development Investment Printing Joint Stock Company (Thong Nhat ward), representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) organized the presentation of gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended and directly presented gifts to workers.
Implementing the Party and State's policy, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour regularly organizes activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. In which, the "Tet Sum vay" program is identified as a peak period of care and support for workers every Tet and Spring.
In Gia Lai, trade union levels have also actively supported union members and workers in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters, suffering from serious illnesses or losing their jobs. Thereby, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, ensuring social security, helping workers and their families celebrate Tet happily, safely, and healthily.
On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour visited, encouraged and presented Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to bringing a warmer, more peaceful and meaningful new Spring.
At Gia Lai Education Development Investment Printing Joint Stock Company, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Thong Nhat, Dien Hong, An Phu and Ayun Pa wards (Gia Lai province) on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 100 gifts, each gift worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300 thousand VND. Due to remote road conditions, 20 union members and workers of Ayun Pa Ward Trade Union could not come directly to receive gifts; representatives of the ward trade union received and returned them to union members in the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized: "2025 is a year of many difficulties and challenges for workers due to the impact of natural disasters, floods, directly affecting life and production. However, Gia Lai union members and workers are still enthusiastic and diligent in labor, creating wealth and products, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality".
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour affirmed that the Trade Union organization will always accompany union members and workers nationwide in general and Gia Lai in particular; continue to advise and propose mechanisms and policies to ensure and improve the material and spiritual life of workers, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of 2026.
On this occasion, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also acknowledged and praised the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union, local Party committees, authorities and businesses for their concern and care for the lives of union members and workers, contributing to maintaining social stability and promoting economic growth of the country.
