Skilled craftsman at the stone mine

More than 10 years attached to Thang Long Joint Stock Company (from July 2015 to present), Mr. Le Minh Tai (born in 1988, from Thanh Hoa, currently residing in Thong Nhat ward, Gia Lai province) has always been mentioned by colleagues as a role model of diligent workers.

Working in the stone mining area, where the environment is heavy and requires high discipline, Mr. Tai takes on the tasks of operating excavators, breaking stones, scooping stones and cleaning up the mining ground.

Aware of the specific nature of his work, each shift of work he starts with thoroughly checking machinery, closely monitoring operating procedures to prevent incidents and ensure absolute labor safety.

Not only fulfilling his role, Mr. Tai also proactively supports colleagues from recording equipment logs, supplying input materials for vending machines to sharing operating experience to jointly improve collective productivity.

Fuel-saving initiative

What makes the difference in this mechanic is his eagerness to learn and innovative thinking. In 2025, Mr. Tai successfully researched the initiative "Technical improvement to improve work efficiency". This initiative was quickly accepted by the company's Board of Directors and put into practical application.

His solution focuses on optimizing machinery operation processes, helping to reduce fuel consumption, save labor costs and minimize equipment wear and tear. Business representatives assessed that this initiative has profited the company about 500 million VND per year, while significantly improving direct working conditions for workers.

Besides his good expertise, Mr. Le Minh Tai is also an active union member. He is always a pioneer in the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" emulation movements, actively donating to support colleagues facing difficulties and participating in social security activities, supporting people affected by natural disasters.

With outstanding contributions, Mr. Tai continuously received Certificates of Merit from the Board of Directors and the company's grassroots Trade Union. In particular, he was honored to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for outstanding union members and workers in labor production in the 2024-2025 period.
