On July 6, An Phu Ward Trade Union said that the grassroots Trade Union of Nafoods Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company had just excellently received a Certificate of Merit from the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation in the series of activities of Workers' Month 2026.
Not only stopping at formal activities, the grassroots Trade Union of Nafoods Tay Nguyen Joint Stock Company has affirmed its role as a support for workers with specific figures and actions.
The Trade Union has proactively successfully negotiated with the Board of Directors to increase the meal allowance from 25,000 VND to 30,000 VND/portion.
At the same time, the unit organized the "Trade Union Meal" program for 2 days for more than 200 workers, creating a cozy and cohesive space between the leadership and workers.
The grassroots trade union also organized the "Heather Cooling Summer" program continuously for 4 days, bringing soft drinks and necessities to 500 officials, employees, and workers, contributing to protecting the health of workers directly at the production workshop.
In particular, the "Motorcycle Care for all union members and workers" program has provided free maintenance for 500 vehicles, helping union members and workers save costs, feel secure and safer on their way to work.
Propagating and disseminating laws
In addition to caring for material life, the company's Trade Union also focuses on raising legal awareness and labor safety for workers. The unit closely coordinates with businesses to organize training on labor safety and hygiene knowledge to minimize risks and protect long-term health for workers.
The Trade Union also coordinated with the An Phu Ward Trade Union to organize propaganda and dissemination of the Labor Code, the Social Insurance Law and the Trade Union Law for 200 workers, helping union members understand their rights and obligations.
