Currently, the Hai Duong Industrial Zones Trade Union directly manages and directs 203 grassroots trade unions, with 108,361 union members/113,500 workers. Most union members and workers in enterprises have stable jobs, with an average income of 8 million VND/person/month.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks directed the grassroots Trade Unions to regularly grasp and reflect the situation of enterprises and workers; proactively participate with enterprises in developing Tet holiday plans and notify early so that workers can work with peace of mind.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Hoi - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hai Duong province - said that 200/201 enterprises with grassroots Trade Unions under the Trade Union of Industrial Parks have paid full salary for December 2024 to union members and workers.
Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Labor Federation, the Industrial Parks Trade Union has directed grassroots Trade Unions to coordinate with employers to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet".
The Industrial Parks Trade Union organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang", subsidized and presented gifts to 500 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 350 million VND (each union member and worker received 500,000 VND in cash from the union fund and a gift bag worth 200,000 VND donated by enterprises); visited, encouraged and presented subsidies to 815 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 407.5 million VND; visited, encouraged and presented gifts to union members and workers in boarding houses.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the grassroots trade unions and employers of agencies, units and enterprises plan to give Tet gifts to 113,410 employees with an amount of 34.023 billion VND. Employers at enterprises plan to give Tet bonuses to 113,331 union members and employees with an amount of 509.9 billion VND, the average bonus is 4.5 million VND/person, the highest bonus is 220,992,000 VND, the lowest bonus is 100,000 VND.
In addition, 2,108 union members and workers living far away were supported with train and bus tickets worth 438.9 million VND; 147 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were given subsidies worth 118 million VND at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" organized by the grassroots union in coordination with the enterprise.
The union also proposed that the enterprise support VND 8,728,464,000 to organize activities to take care of the Lunar New Year 2025 for union members and workers.
