Tien Lang District Labor Federation awarded the decision to establish the Tien Lang District Drivers' Union and admitted 82 union members to the Vietnam Trade Union.
Also at the ceremony, the leaders of the District Labor Federation congratulated and assigned tasks to the provisional union executive committee; presented 82 gifts to union members.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Chairwoman of Tien Lang District Labor Federation, in 2024, the District Labor Federation developed 1,933 new union members (achieving 241% of the city's assigned target); established 6/5 grassroots unions, reaching 120% of the city's assigned target in 2024.
After establishing the Tien Lang District Drivers Association, next week, the District Labor Federation will issue a decision to establish two grassroots unions, including a union for raising earthworms and a union for raising chickens. The total number of union members in the three grassroots unions is more than 140. The establishment of three grassroots unions in Tien Lang District brings the total number of unions in Hai Phong City to eight.
