On the morning of October 13, according to the Kon Tum Provincial Labor Federation, at the Multi-purpose House of the Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities, the Provincial Education and Training Trade Union held the opening ceremony of the "Women's Volleyball Tournament for Cadres, Civil Servants, Employees, and Workers of the Kon Tum Provincial Education and Training Sector".
The event is to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024).

The tournament gathered 282 officials, coaches, and female athletes from 23 teams. Of which, 23 teams under the Department of Education and Training competed in 4 groups, while the remaining 5 teams from the Departments of Education and Training of districts and cities participated in separate groups.
The organizing committee plans to award 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and an encouragement prize to the teams. In addition, individual prizes such as best player, best setter, and Miss Volleyball Women’s will also be awarded. The tournament will be held over 5 days, from October 11 to 15.
This is an annual tournament of the Department of Education and Training in collaboration with the Education Trade Union of Kon Tum province. The tournament not only aims to promote the sports movement in schools but also to promote the health training movement for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the education sector.
This tournament is also an opportunity for units to exchange, enhance solidarity, contribute to building a healthy pedagogical environment and successfully complete work tasks.
