The 2024 Lai Chau Provincial Excellent Trade Union Officers Competition attracted 11 delegations, with the participation of more than 200 candidates who are trade union officers, employees from the Labor Federations of districts, cities, Industry Trade Unions and Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Unions.
According to the rules of the 2024 "Excellent Trade Union Officer" Contest, the teams participating in the Contest will have to complete 3 parts: General knowledge; handling situations in trade union activities and talented trade union officers.
In the knowledge competition, the teams showed that union officials not only have a firm grasp of professional knowledge and skills, but also have a firm grasp of the policies, laws, directives and resolutions of the Party, State and Trade Union organizations.
In the situation handling competition, the teams brought unique and elaborate performances with meaningful messages revolving around situations that occurred in real-life activities at union levels.
Through the contest, the role of union officials in forecasting, analyzing, grasping the grassroots situation, flexibly applying knowledge to solve situations that occur in union work at the unit and in the area of responsibility was highlighted.
In the talent competition, union officials not only understood the policies, guidelines and regimes directly related to the interests of union members, but also demonstrated many artistic talents, bringing a vibrant and attractive atmosphere to the competition.
In recognition of the contestants' efforts, with a spirit of fairness and objectivity, the Organizing Committee and the Jury awarded the First Prize to the Health Sector Trade Union; 2 Second Prizes to the Tam Duong District Labor Federation and Than Uyen District Labor Federation. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 Third Prizes, 5 Consolation Prizes and 3 prizes for each competition.
Comrade Vu Manh Ha - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Hoang Tho Trung, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation presented flags to units that won high prizes at the competition.
