On October 18, information from Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor said that two female union members of the province have just been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
These are two of 90 outstanding female union members nationwide honored in the movement "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs" in the period of 2020 - 2025.
Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Ms. Vu Thi Oanh said that these are excellent examples selected and introduced by grassroots unions.
"The women are not only good at their profession and skills, leading the movement and trade union activities, but also the ones who keep the "warm fire" in the family," Ms. Oanh emphasized.
One of the two typical examples is Ms. H'Vinh Nie, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Dak Nong General Hospital (Lam Dong province).
She is a typical creative model in researching and applying science and technology to her expertise, with two topics and initiatives at the grassroots level and two provincial-level topics and initiatives that are effectively applied in the period of 2020 - 2025.
In addition to her professional work, Ms. H'Vinh Nie has also run a "charity kitchen" at the hospital for more than 10 years, each year mobilizing more than 2 billion VND to support free meals for patients in difficulty.
Over the past 5 years, she has continuously achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots and provincial levels; was commended by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Provincial Trade Union and the General Confederation.
The second person is Ms. Tran Thi Diep Thao, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. She is considered the core of solidarity, always accompanying the Executive Committee of the trade union in activities of movement, charity, and helping the poor.
"I always try to arrange my family's activities well to have time to participate in union activities, contributing to building a united and strong team," Ms. Thao shared.
