On November 18, Vice President of the Da Lat City Labor Federation Dinh Thi Thuy Duong said that the unit had just successfully organized the "Safe Driving" Contest in 2024.
This contest is organized by the Da Lat City Labor Federation in collaboration with Thien Phuc Duc Joint Stock Company. This is a business operating in the field of car and motorbike driving training, located in Da Lat city.
According to Ms. Duong, there are currently many union members and workers in Da Lat who use cars every day. Along with that, Da Lat is known as a famous tourist and resort city both domestically and internationally. Therefore, the means of transportation in Da Lat is increasing. Meanwhile, the terrain has many steep passes, requiring safe driving skills.
"In this contest, we promote awareness among union members and workers to improve their understanding and strictly comply with road traffic laws. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness when participating in traffic, building a safe and friendly Da Lat" - Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong affirmed.
The contest had 90 contestants who were union members and workers from affiliated grassroots unions participating in the final round. They were people who had car driving licenses. Previously, these 90 contestants had surpassed hundreds of union members and workers who also participated in the preliminary round organized by grassroots unions.
In the final round, each contestant will take two exams. The theoretical exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions on the computer about road traffic laws and traffic situations.
The practical test will include driving a car equipped with a sensor system at the driving license testing yard...
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the Championship Prize, First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 5 Encouragement Prizes to the contestants with high results.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung said: “This contest is a healthy and useful playground for union members and workers. This is also a training and propaganda session to improve our understanding of the law and safe driving skills.
After this contest, each contestant will become an effective propagandist on ensuring road traffic safety in their agency, unit and family.
