On the morning of December 17, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - said that up to this point, the unit is ready for the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The Congress will take place over 2 days from December 22 to 23 at the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House. Of which, the official opening session was on the morning of December 23.
The Congress was attended by 200 official delegates who are exemplary union members, representing nearly 90,000 union members in the whole province, under 26 commune, ward and special zone unions.
The Congress focuses on 2 contents: Assessing the results of Trade Union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in Lam Dong province in the period of 2023 - 2025; at the same time, identifying directions, key tasks and solutions in the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Congress will announce the decision of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to appoint the Executive Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 25 people, and the Standing Committee of 13 people.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Union will focus on implementing 9 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs.
Previously, the Provincial Federation of Labor established service subcommittees such as: Human Resources subcommittee, Document subcommittee, propaganda, organization and service subcommittee. From October 15 to November 30, 860 grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions organized congresses and conferences to ensure the correct progress according to regulations.
Grassroots trade unions are mainly in the enterprise sector, public service units are spread across the province with the largest area in the country after the merger. With the determination of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, and the support and response of the grassroots trade unions, the trade unions of communes, wards, and special zones, the congress work has been basically completed according to the plan" - Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang informed.
