On December 27, the Chairman of the Trade Union of Phu Thuy and Binh Thuan wards (Lam Dong province) said that the units have completed the distribution of gifts to support union members and workers affected by the recent floods.
The gifts presented are sharing from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation and the joint efforts of other units.

Authorized by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union organized visits, encouragement and presented 95 cash gifts to union members affected by floods.
Supported union members are currently working at grassroots trade unions located in the ward. The gift distribution is carried out directly, ensuring the right subjects, the right level of damage, helping union members promptly cover living expenses in difficult times.

In Binh Thuan ward, Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong - Chairwoman of the ward Trade Union said that the unit has completed the presentation of gifts to 100 union members affected by floods. Among them, there are 35 gifts worth 1,000,000 VND/gift and 65 gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift. The support level is based on the level of property damage of each union member's family, ensuring fairness and practicality.
According to ward trade unions, recent rains and floods have greatly affected the lives of many union members, especially workers. Many families have their houses flooded and property damaged.

In the context of the end of the year, when spending demand increases, many union member families are spending a lot of money to overcome and stabilize their lives after flooding, the timely support from the trade union organization becomes even more meaningful.
The organization of visits and gifts not only has the meaning of providing material support but also is a timely spiritual encouragement, clearly showing the role of the trade union organization in accompanying union members in difficult times. Thereby, helping workers feel more secure and have more motivation to soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
