On October 15, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit had just held the 2nd Executive Committee Conference for the 2023-2028 term.
At the conference, the Executive Committee discussed and decided on many important contents related to the province's trade union activities.
A notable content is the announcement of the decision of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor approving the position of Chairman of the Provincial Trade Union Inspection Committee.
Accordingly, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, was assigned to concurrently hold the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, congratulated and expressed his confidence that Mr. Phan Thanh Thai will successfully complete his new task.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai thanked the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee for their trust and confidence in assigning this important responsibility.
He said: I am honored and fully aware of my responsibility when assigned an important job. I will strive, unite with the collective to successfully complete the tasks of the Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee.
Mr. Thai said that in the coming time, he will urgently develop a program and work plan for the Inspection Committee, report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation for implementation.
In particular, focusing on inspecting compliance with the Trade Union Charter, financial work, and at the same time advising on organizing inspections and supervision of lower-level trade unions to ensure compliance with regulations and improve operational efficiency.
