On October 2, the Trade Union Board of Lao Cai Industrial Parks visited and encouraged union members and workers of Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company - the unit directly collecting waste and overcoming the consequences of storms in the area.
The working delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, with leaders of the Industrial Parks Trade Union, grassroots trade union officials and representatives of enterprises.
At the program, the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks of the province organized a "Union Meal" with 300 free meals for union members and workers who are directly participating in cleaning up the environment after the storm.
In addition, the working group also kindly visited the lives and working conditions of workers; acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility, the dedication not afraid of difficulties, cleaning the environment day and night, contributing to restoring people's lives.
On this occasion, many practical gifts were presented, encouraging the spirit of union members and workers to work with peace of mind and complete assigned tasks well.
Speaking at the visit, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat emphasized: Workers and employees of Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company have worked with a high sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, contribute to ensuring environmental sanitation, and stabilize people's lives after natural disasters.
This is a shining example of a sense of responsibility and community awareness. The Trade Union will always accompany, care for and share with union members and workers so that each person is more attached to the profession and the enterprise".
This visit and encouragement activity not only has practical significance in supporting the lives and spirits of workers, but also strongly spreads the spirit of mutual love and solidarity overcoming difficulties - the core values that the Trade Union organization always strives for.
This is also one of the key activities of the Trade Union Committee of Lao Cai Industrial Parks to respond to the emulation movement among union members and workers, associated with caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of workers.
