On July 27, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks No. 2 organized a signing ceremony for a program to coordinate with the Economic Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police on preventing and combating drug evils and crimes among union members and workers at enterprises in industrial parks.
At the program, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks No. 2, the Economic Security Department and businesses signed a coordination program, and also signed commitments to comply with the law on preventing and combating drug evils and crimes among union members and workers.
According to the signed content, the parties will strengthen coordination in propaganda and dissemination of laws on drug prevention and control; raising awareness and law compliance for union members and workers.

At the same time, proactively detect and prevent legal violations related to drugs; build and replicate models of businesses and grassroots trade unions without drug evils.
Through the coordination program, the parties aim to maintain security and order, build a safe and stable working environment, and create conditions for businesses to develop sustainably.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the signing of the coordination program is a practical activity to strengthen coordination between the Trade Union organization and the Police force in ensuring security and order at enterprises.
At the same time, it is proposed that grassroots trade unions continue to promote their core role in propagating and mobilizing union members and workers to strictly comply with the provisions of law; actively coordinate with employers and functional forces to build a civilized and safe working environment without social evils and drugs.
The coordination program and commitment to comply with the law on prevention and combat of drug evils and crimes is expected to enhance the responsibility of trade union levels, businesses and workers in prevention work.
Thereby, contributing to building a team of workers with awareness of law compliance, forming a safe, healthy working environment without drugs.

On this occasion, the Economic Security Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police presented 10 gifts to 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at enterprises in the industrial park.
The gifts are a practical source of encouragement, contributing to adding motivation for workers to feel secure in their work, stick with businesses and actively participate in building a safe and stable working environment.
