The conference was attended by Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Major General Ngo Hoai Thu - Standing member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security; Lieutenant Colonel Cong Thanh Thao, Head of the People's Public Security Trade Union (CAND).
Pursuant to Decision No. 308/QD-TLD dated October 23, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the appointment of the Trade Union Committee; Inspection Committee and positions in the Vietnam People's Public Security Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term, the People's Public Security Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term has 22 comrades.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu congratulated the comrades appointed to join the People's Public Security Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term, and at the same time hoped that the comrades would strive together to make the People's Public Security Trade Union more developed and more innovative.
Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu also requested the People's Public Security Trade Union to continue to focus on directing grassroots trade union congresses according to the orientation of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Department of Political Work and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; soon stabilize the organization, help newcomers integrate; continue to do a good job of taking care of union members and workers.
Major General Ngo Hoai Thu also sent his congratulations and commendations to the comrades appointed to join the Trade Union Committee and the CAND Trade Union Inspection Committee. Comrade Ngo Hoai Thu affirmed that these are cadres with strong political will, experience, capacity and prestige in their work. For you, this is both a great honor and a responsibility assigned by the Central Party Committee of the Public Security.
To further promote the role of the Trade Union organization in the new situation, Comrade Ngo Hoai Thu suggested that the People's Public Security Trade Union focus on implementing a number of key contents such as thoroughly grasping the guiding policies of the Party and State; innovating the content of the methods of operation, taking union members and workers as the center; strongly launching the patriotic emulation movement; taking advantage of the leadership of the Party committees of the units, closely coordinating with the Youth Union, Women's Union...
On behalf of the Department of Political Affairs, he also expressed his gratitude and hope that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the functional units of the General Confederation will continue to pay attention, coordinate and direct in the next activities of the trade union organization in the People's Public Security.
At the Conference, Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu and Major General Ngo Hoai Thu presented decisions on positions in the People's Public Security Trade Union and positions in the People's Public Security Trade Union Inspection Committee.
Accordingly, the People's Public Security Trade Union Committee for the 2023-2028 term consists of 22 comrades. The positions in the Trade Union Committee include 17 comrades; Comrade Cong Thanh Thao holds the position of Head of the CAND Trade Union Committee. The positions in the CAND Trade Union Inspection Committee include 5 comrades; Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hien holds the position of Chairman of the CAND Trade Union Inspection Committee.
