The 2025 Vinh City Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers Football Tournament will be held from April 21-25 at the artificial turf field of Vocational School No. 1.
The tournament has the participation of 7 teams with more than 100 athletes from 7 grassroots trade unions of the enterprise sector under the Vinh City Labor Federation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Trinh - Vice President of Vinh City Labor Federation said that the tournament is a practical activity to celebrate Workers' Month in 2025; commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; 139 years of International Labor Day and 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
With the purpose of health training, creating a healthy playground, enhancing exchanges and connections between union members in the business sector.
At the same time, it is an opportunity to discover, gather and gather athletes with high professional qualifications, to train and establish a football team for the City Labor Federation.
The Vice President of Vinh City Labor Federation also suggested that the players participating in the competition must promote the spirit of solidarity, compete honestly, demonstrate a noble sportsmanship, create cultural beauty in sports, and give the audience good plays and beautiful goals.
Referees run matches fairly and objectively, members of the Organizing Committee take action with the highest sense of responsibility to contribute to creating a successful tournament.
