Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - a worker working at an electronics company in Thach That Industrial Park (Hanoi) - said that this was the first time he attended the Launching Ceremony of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month.

But what impressed Mr. Manh and many workers was the report on occupational safety and health broadcast at the Launching Ceremony. In which, it is not only about occupational safety and health knowledge but also about unfortunate stories, just because of subjectivity, due to lack of occupational safety knowledge, we have to pay the price with our lives... Mr. Manh shared that the report has helped many people once again understand the importance of occupational safety and health, right from the most basic things, including wearing full protective gear when entering the production area or having to check equipment before operating machinery...
In recent years, occupational safety and health work has always been focused on and cared for by Hanoi City. Every year, the City organizes the Month of Action on occupational safety and health with a theme accompanying the contents and specific implementation programs of this work issued from the city to districts, towns and business units.
In 2025, the Month of Action on occupational safety and health has the theme "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace".
Implementing the Secretariat's Directive 31.CT/TW on strengthening leadership in occupational safety and health, the Standing Committees of the City Party Committee and the Hanoi People's Committee have set out 4 key groups of tasks and solutions: promoting propaganda, raising awareness; enhancing the effectiveness of State management; tightening inspection, examination, investigation of occupational accidents and allocating investment resources for occupational safety and health. In particular, propaganda work has been widely deployed to businesses, workers, especially freelance workers, craft village workers, with many diverse and practical forms.
Consider occupational safety and health as the key to success
Ms. Tran Thuy Hien - Deputy Director of Thuong Tin Power Company (under Hanoi Power Corporation) - said that in the past, the company always attached importance to safety-related contents and implemented measures to ensure occupational safety and health, considering this the key to success.
To do this, the company has done a good job of propaganda, training and implementing the construction of a safe, friendly, effective and sustainable working environment. Due to proactive implementation of measures to ensure occupational safety and health, although the working environment has many risks of insecurity, the Company has not had any work accidents in recent years.
Responding to the 2025 Workers' Safety and Health Action Month, Thuong Tin Power Company commits to strictly comply with the process and labor discipline when working on site; periodically maintain, inspect equipment and review, replace, and complete the machinery system. At the same time, the company constantly improves working conditions, contributing to reducing occupational accidents and diseases for the safety of workers and sustainable development.
The company also organized training, fire fighting drills, and occupational accident emergency care, signing a commitment with 100% of households in the management area. At the same time, it is necessary to promote propaganda and raise awareness of occupational safety and health among all officers and employees.
At the launching ceremony of the Action Month on OSH and the working month in 2025, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha said that the city requested to create a strong spread, attract the attention of the whole society, especially the authorities at all levels and employers for life, employment and skills of workers. Right at the launching ceremony, the propaganda work has been effective when helping workers directly access information and raise awareness about OSH.
