On March 4, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that Vinh Hung Ward Trade Union organized the launch of "Ao Dai Week" 2026 with many meaningful and practical activities. The program is implemented to celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026) and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
This year's "Ao Dai Week" takes place from March 1 to March 8, 2026. The Ward Trade Union encourages female officials, union members, and workers to wear ao dai on their working days in accordance with their conditions and professional characteristics; simultaneously responding on March 6, 2026.
The activity aims to honor and spread the graceful beauty of the Vietnamese ao dai, a traditional cultural symbol of the nation. At the same time, it arouses pride and awareness of preserving and promoting cultural identity in each official, union member, and worker.
Through the program, Vinh Hung Ward Trade Union continues to affirm the role of the trade union organization in caring for the spiritual life of union members. Thereby creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, contributing to building agencies and units that are increasingly civilized and modern.
