On March 7, the Nghe An Labor Federation said that in response to "Ao Dai Week" 2026 launched by the Vietnam Women's Union on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, officials, members, and women in Nghe An actively wore ao dai when working and participating in community activities.
In the early days of March, in many agencies, units and localities in Nghe An, the image of traditional ao dai appeared brilliantly in the office environment, schools and social activities. Female officials, members, and workers choose ao dai when going to work, participating in collective activities and events organized by agencies and units.
According to the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, responding to "Ao Dai Week" has become an annual activity, with the active participation of a large number of officials, members and women in the area. Through this activity, the association organization wishes to arouse national pride, honor the beauty of Vietnamese women as well as the cultural value of Ao Dai.
In addition to wearing ao dai in daily work, many units also organize exchange activities, group photoshoots, and thematic activities to promote and spread the image of Vietnamese ao dai.
Ao Dai Week" 2026 is therefore not only an occasion to honor traditional costumes but also contributes to preserving and promoting national cultural identity, creating cohesion among officials, members, and women in the area.
