On December 21, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that in 2024, the employment and living conditions of workers will still face many difficulties, especially in terms of wages and income. Many families do not have stable housing, or live in cramped, dilapidated houses, so sharing and helping from organizations and individuals is very necessary.
Faced with these difficult circumstances, from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has focused on directing all levels of the provincial Union to actively propagate and mobilize cadres and union members to contribute to the "Quang Binh Trade Union Social Fund" to share and help union members in difficult circumstances.
From the mobilized fund, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor supported the construction and repair of 28 Trade Union Shelters with a total amount of 960 million VND.
The support level for new houses is 40 million VND/house, and for repaired houses is 20 million VND/house. From this support, many poor families have the conditions to build houses.
