On the afternoon of October 9, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor (BLDLD) had a working session with the Dong Hoi City Federation of Labor to grasp the situation and results of implementing the targets and tasks in 2024.
Activities to care for the lives of union members and workers are maintained and focused on. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024, the City Labor Federation presented 749 gifts, each worth from 500,000 VND to 1 million VND to union members, workers in difficult circumstances, policy families, poor households, fishermen... with a total amount of nearly 350 million VND.
At the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in 2024 organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor, the City Federation of Labor presented 660 sets of traditional long pants and 150 ao dai to union members and workers in difficult circumstances throughout the province... The grassroots unions organized activities to visit and give gifts to union members and workers with a total amount of over 5 billion VND.
The highest bonus for the State-owned enterprise sector is 27 million VND/person, the lowest is 6.5 million VND/person; the highest bonus for the non-State enterprise sector is over 1 billion VND, the lowest is 2 million VND/person; the education sector rewards from 500,000 VND - 2 million VND/person.
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the City Labor Federation presented 25 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances (each gift worth 700,000 VND).
In response to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2024, trade unions at all levels have awarded 80 scholarships to union members and workers in difficult circumstances and those who have had work-related accidents with a total amount of 52 million VND. The grassroots trade union has visited 280 cases of illness and misfortune with a total amount of 84 million VND.
Within the framework of the program, the Quang Binh Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented 10 gifts to 10 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances working at Quang Binh Urban Development and Environment Joint Stock Company.
It is known that the working program in districts, towns and cities of Quang Binh Labor Federation will be implemented from now until October 24, with Labor Federations of 7 districts, towns and cities: Dong Hoi, Bo Trach, Le Thuy, Minh Hoa, Ba Don, Quang Trach, Quang Ninh, Tuyen Hoa. A total of 90 gifts with 45 million VND will be awarded.
