Quang Binh - The Transport Industry Union promotes solutions to increase income, improve welfare, ensure rights and improve the lives of union members.

On the afternoon of January 13, the Transport Trade Union of Quang Binh province held a conference to deploy union work tasks in 2025.

Quang Binh Transport Industry Trade Union currently has 26 affiliated grassroots trade union organizations, 2,352 employees, and 2,190 union members.

Vice President of the Quang Binh Transport Industry Trade Union Nguyen Thi Phuong Nga said that last year, the Executive Board of grassroots trade unions actively coordinated with professionals to find jobs to stabilize the lives of workers.

Average income reaches 5.5 million VND/person/month; relatively good implementation of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies for employees.

Responding to the Month of Action for Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) deployed nationwide from May 1 to May 31, 2024 with the theme "Strengthening occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace and in the supply chain".

Ms. Nga informed that some of the difficulties that the industry's trade unions are facing are that most grassroots trade union officials have to take on many jobs, so they do not pay due attention to trade union work; private enterprises and trade union officials are still afraid to fight and give advice to the business directors; some directors of private enterprises do not pay attention to the activities of trade unions, and do not fully implement policies for employees according to the provisions of the Labor Code.

In 2025, the Transport Industry Union will continue to focus resources on taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; organizing activities to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, organizing activities for Workers' Month, responding to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health.

Effectively deploy solutions on “Focusing resources on taking care of the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation”. Strengthen welfare care to attract workers to join the Trade Union.
