The US began to impose a comprehensive blockade on Iran's shipping operations on April 13, including all ports of this country, as well as the Gulf of Oman and part of the Arabian Sea.

The ship's itinerary shows that G Summer turned very quickly when reaching the southern waters of Iraq - a place where transit between Iranian ships sometimes takes place.
