On January 14, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD) said that it had just organized the first meeting of the Executive Committee, term I, term 2025-2030, summarizing trade union activities in 2025 and deploying trade union work tasks in 2026.
In 2025, after arranging the organizational structure, trade union activities at all levels in the province had many positive changes, many targets were achieved and exceeded the plan. Representative work, care, and protection of the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers were effectively implemented with the programs "Tet Sum vay", "Workers' Month", "Trade Union Tet Market". More than 32,583 turns of union members and workers in difficult circumstances were supported and visited with a total budget of over 17.3 billion VND.
The whole province has 420 grassroots trade unions organizing the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program, attracting more than 20,000 union members to participate; more than 4,000 union members and workers were supported to buy goods through the online "Trade Union Tet Market" with a total benefit value of 2.4 billion VND.
The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions was focused on, in the year more than 1,200 new union members were admitted, and 19 grassroots trade unions were established. The Trade Union introduced 809 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and admission, of which 409 people were admitted.
In 2026, with the theme "Promoting innovation; concretizing and bringing the Resolutions of the Party Congress, Fatherland Front, and Trade Union into life", trade union levels in the province focus on effectively implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, promoting digital transformation, digital trade unions; in the immediate future, prioritize caring for union members and workers in difficult circumstances during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet".
