On the evening of May 23, the Quang Tri Town Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the Decision on admitting union members and establishing grassroots unions (CDCS) at Winzen Knitwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Quang Tri Town, Quang Tri Province).
This activity took place within the framework of Workers' Month 2025, clearly demonstrating the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers.
Attending the ceremony were Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thi Hoai Le; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee Nguyen Quang Lam.
At the ceremony, 81 workers working at Winzen Knitwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially became union members. At the same time, the company's grassroots trade union was established with a provisional Executive Committee of 5 people.
Winzen Knitwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, operating in the export garment sector, mainly aiming at the European market. Currently, the enterprise has 110 employees, of which 81 have participated in social insurance, the rest are in the probationary period.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thi Hoai Le congratulated the new members and the Provisional Executive Committee of the Community College. He highly appreciated the drastic and initiative of the Labor Federation of the town in the development of union members, building trade unions in enterprises outside the state sector; At the same time, the active cooperation from the company's leaders in creating conditions for establishing trade unions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Trang - representative of Winzen Knitwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the company plans to expand production scale and recruit many workers. Admitting union members and establishing grassroots unions is one of the important steps to strengthen the connection between the union organization and workers, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations at enterprises.
At the ceremony, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor presented 10 gifts to workers of Winzen Knitwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. in difficult circumstances and presented dozens of ao dai to female workers.
