On May 20, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that Viet Trung Joint Stock Company had just organized the 2026 Rubber Latex Mining Skills Competition with the theme "Productive - quality - efficient labor".
The contest took place at the 2014 rubber garden of Quyet Thang Unit, with the participation of 22 contestants who achieved excellent results in the unit-level round.
Contestants compete in two parts: theoretical and practical. Theoretical exam content includes rubber latex extraction process, disease prevention techniques and related professional knowledge. Practical exam includes practical tree shaving techniques, tool competition, speed competition and costume competition.
After the order of the Organizing Committee, the contestants entered the practical competition section over 60 rubber trees. The contest atmosphere was exciting with the enthusiastic cheers of a large number of workers.
The practical test not only requires proficiency in each razor line but also requires candidates to ensure speed, accuracy and proper technical procedures in the latex extraction process.
Speaking at the contest, Mr. Phan Van Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Viet Trung Joint Stock Company, said that the contest is held periodically every 2 years to create conditions for workers to exchange, learn experiences, and improve their skills.
The contest is an opportunity for latex tappers to affirm their skills, and at the same time discover and nurture typical factors contributing to building the Company to develop more and more.
The 2026 rubber latex mining skilled workers contest is considered a big festival for workers throughout the Company, contributing to encouraging the labor production emulation movement, improving productivity, quality and work efficiency.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 4 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 2 million VND. The Trade Union of Viet Trung Joint Stock Company also presented 32 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND to encourage workers to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
