On March 16, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union.
According to the decision, the Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union has 419 union members. The Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union of term I, term 2026 - 2030 includes 13 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Minh Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Vo Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization, build operating regulations, and promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The establishment of the Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union is considered a step to consolidate the trade union organization in the agency, contributing to strengthening solidarity and building an increasingly strong unit.
