On the morning of October 31, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor held a training conference on emulation and reward work in 2024.
Attending the event were 72 delegates who are members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of Federations of Labor of districts, towns, cities, Trade Unions of industries and equivalent.
During the 1-day session, delegates will be presented with some basic contents and new points of the Law on Emulation and Commendation; Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation; Decision 999/QD-TLD, dated May 29, 2024 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the Commendation Regulations of Trade Union organizations; Decision 213/QD-LDLD, dated September 9, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on promulgating the Commendation Regulations of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor.
According to the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor, the training aims to update and disseminate new issues in emulation and reward work for union officials at all levels. Thereby, improving the quality of content and form of organizing emulation movements and reward work among union members and employees at each level of the Union, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
