On March 18, the Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Park Trade Union held a preliminary review of trade union work in the first quarter, deploying tasks for the second quarter of 2025; presented the decision to reward the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2024 and announced the decisions of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor on transferring grassroots trade unions and union members to the responsibility of the Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Park Trade Union.
In the first quarter of 2025, the Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Trade Union has effectively implemented the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, such as: Awarding 3,000 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 2.4 billion VND; organizing the awarding of 200 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND from the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy and 300 gifts, each worth 1 million VND from the Thai Binh Provincial Party Secretary to union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances.
In addition, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor allocated free shopping vouchers to participate in the program "At Ty Spring Union Tet Market" to 609 union members and employees with a total amount of over 304 million VND; presented gifts to new union members on the military tour with a total amount of 22 million VND.
Direct grassroots trade unions to advise business owners and unit leaders to organize dialogues at the workplace, workers' conferences; develop and amend grassroots democracy regulations; negotiate and sign collective labor agreements.

In the second quarter of 2025, the Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Park Trade Union will continue to focus on organizing activities to care for union members and workers; regularly monitoring the implementation of policies related to workers; propagating, developing union members, and establishing grassroots unions.
At the conference, the Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Trade Union announced the decision of the Provincial Federation of Labor on transferring 3 grassroots trade unions with 7,354 union members from the Industry and Trade Trade Union to the Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Trade Union. Thus, the Trade Union of Thai Binh Economic Zones and Industrial Parks currently has 57 grassroots trade unions with 37,958 union members.
Also at the conference, the Trade Union of Thai Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Park organized a ceremony to award the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants and trade union activities in 2024.
