On the afternoon of February 25, at the Thai Binh Provincial Labor Culture House, the Provincial Labor Federation (PFF) held a conference to announce decisions on the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus and personnel work.
At the conference, the organizing committee announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor on the dissolution and termination of the activities of 6 industry unions and equivalents from February 28, including: Education Trade Union, Health Trade Union, Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, Construction Trade Union, Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, Industry and Trade Trade Union; at the same time, transferred 213 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with 30,013 union members under 6 dissolved units to other appropriate grassroots trade union units.
Next are the decisions on the establishment of two trade union organizations under the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor, including: the Provincial Party Trade Union and the Provincial Government Trade Union; decisions on the appointment of leadership and staff positions of the Provincial Party Trade Union and the Provincial Government Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Xuan Vinh - Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor - affirmed that the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus is an important turning point in the process of organizing and operating the provincial trade union; at the same time, marking a new period in trade union activities, with the expectation of a breakthrough to rise up and develop comprehensively.
To ensure that after the arrangement and organization of the apparatus is put into effective operation, the Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor requested that comrades who are transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, hold leadership positions, cadres, specialists... continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, capacity, qualifications, strive to perform well the assigned tasks; take care of building and maintaining solidarity and unity based on the regulations of the Party, the laws of the State, and the laws of the Trade Union organization, contributing to building a strong collective and unit.
Previously, on the same morning, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor also held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Provincial Federation of Labor's Professional Affairs Committee on the basis of merging the Propaganda - Women's Union and the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations; decisions on the appointment of the positions of Head, Deputy Head and specialist of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Professional Affairs Committee.
In addition, there are decisions on the transfer and arrangement of cadres from dissolved industry unions and merged committees of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor to work at the Provincial Federation of Labor's Professional Affairs Committee, the Organizing Committee - Inspection Committee, the Finance and Office Committee, and district and city labor federations. These decisions take effect from March 1.
