On September 12, Mr. Vu Hai Bac - Chairman of the Labor Federation of Pho Yen City - and a delegation of officials visited, encouraged, and shared with workers in Trung Thanh Ward. This is one of the flooded areas, heavily affected by storm No. 3.
According to information from the Pho Yen City Labor Federation, on the evening of September 11, the rising water level of the Cong River caused widespread flooding, with many factories and kilns submerged in water.
Among them, Gia Phong Brick Company Ltd. (Trung Thanh ward) suffered damage due to flood water, initially estimated at about 30 billion VND.
Sharing the difficulties, the Labor Union of Pho Yen City visited and presented gifts (necessities) to the leaders and workers in the company to encourage them with the hope that the collective of cadres, union members and workers will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize production.
Previously, on September 10, the Labor Federation of Pho Yen City also visited, encouraged and gave 800 gifts including food and flashlights to people in flooded areas in Pho Yen City and Dong Hy District, with a total gift value of over 80 million VND.
