On July 7, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that Hai Binh Ward Trade Union had just organized a conference to summarize the Trade Union work in the first 6 months of the year, deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026; quickly announced the results of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term.
In the first 6 months of 2026, Hai Binh Ward Trade Union and grassroots trade unions have implemented many effective tasks and solutions. Notably, the work of developing union members and establishing 4 new grassroots trade unions reached 200% of the target assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation.
Along with that, propaganda and political and ideological education have been promoted; emulation movements such as "Good labor, creative labor", "5 pioneers, 5 companions", and the movement "Digital literacy" have been effectively implemented, contributing to raising awareness, qualifications and awareness of law compliance among union members and workers.
In the last 6 months of 2026, Hai Binh Ward Trade Union will continue to promote propaganda and dissemination of laws; care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; develop union members; organize skills competitions and improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities.
On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the Hai Binh Ward Trade Union presented 21 gifts with a total value of 27 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances and presented 7 sets of English textbooks to children aged 5 - 10 years old.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh, Chairwoman of Hai Binh Ward Trade Union, in the coming time, the Ward Trade Union will continue to innovate its operating methods in the direction of taking union members as the center; strengthen coordination with employers to care for the material and spiritual life of workers; discover and replicate models and advanced examples, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
