On June 26, the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that on June 27, the "Job Counseling and Introduction Day for the Elderly in 2026" will take place at the People's Committee of O Cho Dua Ward (Hanoi).
The festival attracted 26 units and businesses to participate with 497 recruitment targets.
Target high income from 15 million VND/month or more: 25/497 targets (accounting for 5% of the total recruitment targets) concentrated in some positions requiring expertise and many years of experience.
Target with income from 10-15 million VND/month: 75/497 targets (accounting for 15.1% of the total recruitment targets). This is the income level of positions of security guards, experienced consultants.
Target with income from 7-10 million VND/month: 149/497 targets (accounting for 30% of the total recruitment targets). This is a group with a common recruitment demand for sales, security, and kitchen staff positions.
Targets with income below 7 million VND/month: 198/497 targets (accounting for 39.8%), focusing on simple, part-time, cleaning, sanitation, and handicraft jobs.
50 target salary levels agreed upon.
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the job fair for the elderly has recruitment positions suitable for the health, experience and skills of the elderly such as: security personnel, security guards, consultants, customer care staff, kitchen staff, kitchen assistants, cleaners, sanitation workers, handicraft makers, hourly helpers and many other part-time, flexible jobs. The recruitment positions have relatively suitable income levels, benefits and working hours, creating conditions for the elderly to continue participating in the labor market, increasing income, promoting their experience, skills and role.
In addition, at the festival, there is also the participation of 5 vocational education institutions participating in consulting, introducing vocational training programs, retraining and improving skills for the elderly. At the same time, the festival with the participation of the Hanoi City Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies will directly disseminate preferential credit policies, consult on loan programs to support job creation, maintain and expand employment for the elderly.
